A Youngstown man has been sentenced to 23 years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine in the region. Rayshawn Hall, 24, received a 276-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Christopher A. Boyko after pleading guilty to several charges related to drug distribution and possession.
The charges included one count of distribution of fentanyl, three counts of distribution of methamphetamine, one count each of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine, and two counts of attempted possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl. In addition to his prison term, Hall will serve three years of supervised release following his incarceration.
According to court documents, investigators conducted multiple controlled purchases from Hall between August 11 and October 17, 2023. During a search of his residence, authorities seized more than $56,000 in cash along with other items linked to illegal drug activity. Agents also found a box with a FedEx shipping label from Spring Valley, California inside a black Chrysler vehicle at the property. Forensic analysis confirmed the box contained approximately 21 pounds (9,810.8 grams) of methamphetamine that was over 90% pure and about two pounds (989.7 grams) of fentanyl. The total amount of drugs attributed to Hall’s activities was at least 90,000 kilograms in converted drug weight.
