The United States Bankruptcy Court has announced that it will remain open during the ongoing partial government shutdown. Chief Judge Beth A. Buchanan issued a public notice to inform the public and legal community about the court’s operational status and deadlines affected by the shutdown.

Richard Jones, Clerk of the United States Bankruptcy Court, signed off on the notice on behalf of the court.

The announcement aims to clarify that bankruptcy proceedings will continue as scheduled despite disruptions in other federal operations caused by the government funding lapse.
