A construction company has filed a lawsuit against several former associates and competitors, alleging theft of trade secrets and unfair competition. On November 26, 2025, G&P Construction, LLC filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio against Brian Kruszewski, Andrew Bass, PK Enterprise Group, LLC, and Command Core, LLC.
The plaintiff, G&P Construction, claims that its former President and Chief Operating Officer, Shawn Puskar, along with defendants Kruszewski and Bass, formed competing companies while still employed by G&P. These companies allegedly misappropriated confidential information to gain an unfair advantage in the market. According to the complaint, Puskar had access to sensitive information such as customer lists and pricing models due to his high-level position at G&P. The lawsuit accuses him of downloading this data onto personal devices and sharing it with his new business partners. The complaint also details how Puskar used company resources for personal gain by attending trade shows on behalf of the new ventures while still on G&P’s payroll.
G&P Construction is seeking preliminary injunctive relief to prevent further use or dissemination of its trade secrets. They are also asking for compensatory damages exceeding $75,000 for economic losses incurred due to the alleged misconduct. The lawsuit cites violations of both federal and Ohio state laws regarding trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition.
Representing G&P Construction are attorneys Stephen S. Zashin, Ami J. Patel, and Dylan C. Brown from Zashin & Rich Co., L.P.A., based in Cleveland, Ohio. The case has been assigned Case ID 1:25-cv-02600 but does not yet list a presiding judge.
