Jonnell L. Ammons, also known as Nell, has been sentenced to 125 months in federal prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy that operated in Summit County and surrounding areas. U.S. District Judge Donald C. Nugent handed down the sentence after a federal jury found Ammons guilty in September 2025 of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as use of a communication facility to facilitate a felony drug offense.
